You might recognize this frame shape as one worn mostly by members of the early hip-hop community, but it was also big in the 80’s in the punk/post-punk/new wave scene! Not typically as the all black version - but with translucent frames and wilder colors, and as seen on John Lydon (P.i.L.), John McGeoch (Siouxsie & the Banshees, Magazine, P.i.L.), Captain Sensible (The Damned), and Alan Wilder (Depeche Mode).
